The Director works under the direction of the CEO, is responsible for the day to day direction, coordination and general supervision of the home health and home care programs. Responsibility spans development, organization, implementation and evaluation of agency programs in accordance with the Medicare Conditions of Participation, clinical care standards, and the policies and procedures of the agency. The position is responsible for operations, budgets, and oversight of full time, part time and PRN staff including nurses, aides, therapists, and administrative staff. The Director must have good communication skills and the ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team and positively represent the agency to care partners and the public. Qualified candidate must be a registered nurse with an active license (advanced degree preferred), have 5 years experience in health care, preferably home health care, and 3 years experience in management.
